Kishanganj

 

Kishanganj district is located in the northeastern part of Bihar. It shares its borders with West -Bengal on one side and Nepal on the other. It is often described as the corridor between northeast and the rest of the country.

The Forest area of Kishanganj District is mainly situated at Thakurganj and Terhagach.. Thakuraganj is one of the block among seven blocks of the Kishanganj, having Forest. Terhagach is the other block, having some forest area in Kishanganj District.

Getting There
Kishanganj is easily accessible by train and road and air. All the major trains including Rajdhani stops here. The Baghdogra airport is less than 2Hrs. drive from Kishanganj.The NH 31 connects Kishanganj to all major routes.
